Coming from a tough loss in their last game against the FEU Tamaraws, the Green Archers was dealt yet another hard blow with an 85-83 loss against the resurgent UE Red Warriors earlier at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Almond Vosotros scored the game-high 26 points for La Salle, grabbed three rebounds and came up with two steals while Jeron Teng had 13 points, four rebounds and five assists. Furthermore, Norbert Torres added nine points and seven rebounds.

On the other hand, Roi Sumang led the Red Warriors with 21 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while big man Charles Mammie had a double-double outing with 19 points and 16 rebounds.

La Salle looked to seal the game shut after Thomas Torres swished in a corner trey leading to an 81-77 lead with over a minute left in regulation.

UE would then answer back with seven unanswered points giving an 81-84 deficit for La Salle.  Luigi Del Paz would then give a glimmer of hope for the Archers after making a long two off the corner to trim the deficit to 83-84 with 17 ticks left.  _JGF2364
